It’s a vast and beautiful high elevation playground full of lakes and rocky peaks. Look out for wildlife. If you keep your eyes peeled you could see bears, marmots, pikas, moose, and more. Go explore the area on a trail run to Rainbow Lakes and take a dip in the icy water if you dare!
Ben Moscona’s work reflects his passion for the environment and love of mountain sports. Ben grew up skiing in the town of Aspen, Colorado and discovered adventure photography from a desire to capture his love for skiing. Often found high up in the mountains of Colorado, trail running in the summer or in powder with a grin on his face, Ben believes that the more people get outside, the more they care about their environment.
Ben has been published in major ski magazines like Powder and Freeskier. Last spring he produced a short film for Backcountry Magazine about skiing and the end of the five-year drought in California.
